Pastors Rick and Pam Wright are the founders and senior pastors of The Gathering Place in North Hollywood, a church plant from Harvest Rock Church in Pasadena. The Gathering Place first held meetings in October 2002. Previosly Rick and Pam had founded the Glendale Vineyard where they pastored for 15 years before joining the pastoral staff of Harvest Rock for a number of years.
Rick and Pam have one son, Joseph, who is now an Army Ranger, one daughter and son-in-law, Josh and Mary, and a daughter, Laura, who is currently in high school.

I really want to thank you all for all your prayers concerning us and that you have committed yourself to do it. Thank you for all words you have given us from the Lord. They have comforted and strengthen and blessed us greatly. Because of all prayers God have opened up doors for us. I have come into my true calling and I started to work for the Lord among needy people the prostitutes and drug addicts and criminals. I am also preaching, leading the worship and praying with people for their salvation.
I am very thankful that the Lord has given me the confidence to help this people. There is a great need out there.
The Lord blessed me with a new guitar yesterday. Praise the lord.
I am working 5days a week without getting any money support and I should appreciate if you would stand with me in prayers that God will support us in what way that pleases him. I also ask you to stand with us in prayer that the Lord will continue to speak to us and lead us right in his perfect will.
We feel the Lord want us to open up our home for people to come and feel comforted, safe and supported in their walk with God. And have a place with fellowship.
I am sorry if I have not answered everything you have written to me, the reason for that is that I am not so good in English but my wife is translating for me. If you have any free teaching we should be happy to receive it from you.
